Aloysius F. Albright, O.S.A.

Francis Albright, the son of Henry Albrecht and Mary Gallagher, was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on September 2, 1866. He was vested at Villanova, Pa. on September 19, 1895.

From 1896 to 1902, Brother Aloysius served in Washington, D.C., in the household staff of Archbishop Sebastian Martinelli, O.S.A., the Apostolic Delegate to the United States. Following his service in Washington he was assigned to Saint Mary’s Parish in Lawrence, Massachusetts, where he made his solemn profession on March 15, 1906. Later he served at Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish on Staten Island, New York. 
 
Brother Aloysius died on June 12, 1927 at the convent of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Staten Island, at the age of 61. He is buried at Villanova in the Community Cemetery.
