OnBalance brings together care management, clinical interaction tracking, and performance optimization tools for athletes. Founded by a former Division 1 athlete and designed in collaboration with the leading behavioral specialist in college sports, they knew that mental and behavioral health care was often fragmented and reactionary, with hard-to-quantify treatment outcomes. Institutions lacked protective solutions for mental healthcare governance and care accountability. OnBalance partners with collegiate athletic departments and professional sports organizations to help teams of care providers manage the mental health and well-being of athletes.

Fr. Rob has extensive experience with and a passion for student-athlete wellness. He has served as Villanova University’s assistant athletics director/director of compliance since 2003, and as their senior associate athletics director/student athlete welfare from 2005-2022. He has been the chaplain of the men’s football and basketball teams since 2004 and has served on the University’s Athletics Varsity Club Board since 2015. He was also on the Villanova’s Concussion Safety Protocol Committee in 2014 and was a member of the Big East Presidents’ Cup Committee for the Big East Conference from 2016-2022.
