Nationwide Premiere of extraORDINARY, The Bill Atkinson Story

The nationwide premiere of “extraORDINARY, The Bill Atkinson Story,” a powerful documentary on the life and impact of Augustinian Friar, Fr. Bill Atkison, O.S.A., the first quadriplegic priest in the history of the Catholic Church will be aired on PBS station WHYY in Philadelphia on All Saints Day, Sunday, November 1st at 5 p.m. In 1965, a tobogganing accident left 19-year-old Bill Atkinson paralyzed from the neck down. He was hospitalized, spending a year rehabbing in Philadelphia. After the year of rehab, Atkinson expressed his wish to continue as an Augustinian.   extraORDINARY, The Bill Atkinson Story is coming to your area!
