Description
A sympathy Mass card featuring a quote from Saint Monica, mother of Saint Augustine.
Monica imparted wisdom to her son in death, as in life: “Lay this body anywhere; be not concerned about that. Only this I beg you, remember me at the altar of the Lord.” Her wise words are accompanied by those of St. Augustine, who reminds us that while grief is very normal, goodbye is not forever.
This sympathy Mass card, featuring the heartfelt messages of both Saint Monica and Saint Augustine, serves as a beacon of hope and faith for those mourning a loss. It provides solace and reassurance, reminding the grieving that love transcends death and that our loved ones remain with us in spirit. This beautiful card is a touching tribute to the enduring power of faith and the promise of eternal life

The Augustinian Guild
The Augustinian Guild began as a ministry of prayer, sharing the spiritual riches of the Augustinian Friars. Individuals enrolled in the Guild, whether living or deceased, benefit from our Masses, prayers, and ministry. Furthermore, Mass card donations to the Guild support our Province Mission and care for elderly friars. These donations also help train new Augustinians. By enrolling in the Augustinian Guild, you become part of a spiritual community. This community is dedicated to faith, hope, and charity. Your contributions help us continue our mission of spreading the love of Christ. They also support the friars who have dedicated their lives to His service.
The Augustinians
Saint Augustine believed God is best discovered in the company of friends. Therefore, we seek and serve God together. Our religious life centers on community living. We share possessions, prayers, and ministry. Additionally, we serve wherever the Church needs us: as pastoral ministers, missionaries, and chaplains. We also serve as social workers, teachers, scholars, writers, counselors, musicians, and artists. Our diverse ministries reflect our commitment to addressing the varied needs of the Church and the world. By living and working together, we strive to embody the spirit of St. Augustine. We foster a community of love, learning, and service.
