The Augustinian Fund builds a reliable source of annual revenue to assist the Province in meeting its financial responsibilities. Years ago, the friars’ earned salaries were sufficient to cover all our expenses. Today, however, with fewer friars in active ministry and salaried, we must rely on the generosity of friends and benefactors to help us sustain and grow our way of life and the ministries.
Established in 2006, the Augustinian Fund supports the mission of the Province of St. Thomas of Villanova in New Jersey, Massachusetts, and our other regions in the East Coast. Our friends and benefactors offer financial support for the care of our elderly and infirm Augustinian Friars and the education and training of new members of the Augustinian Order. Additionally, the Fund provides support for Augustinian ministries that serve the poor and marginalized in foreign missions in Japan and Peru and the Province’s Justice and Peace initiatives.
We offer many options for you to support our Augustinian Friars, including the following:
Donate online — The easiest, most efficient way to make a gift is online using your credit card. Our online giving form is secure and easy to fill out.
Include our Province in your estate plan. When you do, your generosity helps us further enhance the Augustinian presence in our schools, parishes, and ministries.
Join our Grateful Hearts Monthly Giving Program to automatically give a monthly gift and continually show your support for the Augustinians’ way of life and ministries.
A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a philanthropic giving vehicle that provides an immediate tax benefit to you, and allows you to grant funds to charities of your choice.
Close out the year on a positive note by giving a gift that serves those in great need now and in the future.

I first met Fr. Michael Sullivan, O.S.A. when he helped out the local parish in Long Beach Island, NJ, then his Lenten retreats to local parishes. I always referred to him as the entertaining priest who held your attention. I loved listening to Fr. Sullivan’s sermons in the NY/NJ area, and his DVDs. He called […]
